 SPECIAL EVENTS
Along with the regimentation and structure of a typical day at ARROWHEAD, we also offer and provide many special events and services. Highlights include:
SPECIAL EVENT DAYS – traditional camp favorites such as BACKWARDS DAY, COSTUME DAY, COLOR WEEK, SCAVENGER HUNT, CRAZY HAT DAY, to name a few, all interspersed throughout the season – provide for great fun and laughs. Unique events only at ARROWHEAD include – MTV DAY, SUPERSTAR DAY, CARNIVAL DAY, PENTATHLON AND ROAD RUNNER RACES – all designed for great and memorable times.
SPECIAL FRIDAY AFTERNOONS – to take a break from our regular routine and reward everyone for a week well done – every Friday PM we offer LONGER SWIM PERIODS, SPECIAL SNACK and OUTSIDE PERFORMERS (magicians, puppeteers, jugglers, music etc.)
HORSEBACK RIDING
This is the only optional activity that we offer at ARROWHEAD. Available to all campers at an additional cost – all riders will experience our equestrian activity two times a week with emphasis on safety and fun– our riders can enjoy our horses inside the corral – all taught by experienced and qualified personnel. Blue Ribbon Week highlights the season!
ARROWHEADLINES
Our award winning camp newspaper is e-mailed to all campers every other week along with posting on our website. This is our primary method of communication during our summer season. Highlights include – a calendar of upcoming special events, review of the weeks past, official camp policies on various topics, bunk news, and menus.
